We offer curved tracks with various radii. The bigger the radius, the smoother the curve. The R40 is the original Lego curve. Having different curves allows to run perfectly parallel tracks on the curve as shown in the picture below

Ballast Curve R104
- custom shaped curve for R104 Left Switch, Right Switch and the Triple Switch R104
- useful if you want to ballast your R104 Switch or R104 Triple Switch in a parallel setup
- very similar to the standard R104 curve geometry, slightly longer (~2mm)
- removes the ~2mm gap when compared to using a standard R104 curved track
- you need one such curve for the left or right switch and two curves for each side of the triple switch
- it should be mounted directly after the detach part of the switch
- if you do not ballast your tracks, a regular R104 curved track is sufficient and you don't need to buy the Ballast Curve R104
