This is to maintain absolute geometry so railroads are easy to connect. But it doesn't look good and often you want to start the curve right at the switch. So now there's the solution! The Trixbrix R40 crossover is modular so you can choose yourself what kind of diverging track you want! Build the original with 'curly curve' or build a smooth looking curve! You're in control! - More possibilities than the original LEGO® switch. - Build a diverging track that goes perfectly perpendicular as shown in the pictures. - Build a parallel track with a distance of 8 LEGO® studs between the tracks. This guarantees a safe passing without collissions - Using the supplied R40 connector and [half R40 curve](https://trixbrix.eu/en_US/p/Curved-Track-R40-half/39) it's possible to build a switch with the same geometry as the original LEGO® switch. - Build a fluent curve right after the switch! No more weird curly tracks like with the original Switch.   - contains 4 elements - 1 x Switch section **with a spring mechanism** - 1 x Detach section with smooth rail guides - 1 x R40 curved half track - 1 x R40 Connector used for parallel setup and a single crossover - **combine 2 left switches** to build a single crossover as shown in the pictures (sold separately) - completely redesigned geometry with sleepers, studs and anti-studs for a more realistic look - Dark Bluish Gray color (same as orginal). - left version - Dedicated ballast plate: [Ballast Plate for Left Switch R40](https://trixbrix.eu/en_US/p/Ballast-Plate-for-Left-Switch-R40/293) ## This set contains ![Curved Track R40 1/2](https://trixbrix.eu/rails/active_storage/representations/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MjU0NTE1LCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--3cc624390eb0ba1abb52b7f2323398d8dc18df4e/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6eyJmb3JtYXQiOiJ3ZWJwIiwicmVzaXplX3RvX2xpbWl0IjpbODAwLDgwMF0sInNhdmVyIjp7InF1YWxpdHkiOjg4fX0sInB1ciI6InZhcmlhdGlvbiJ9fQ==--9611decc1ff01912abcca0815ffb500fe34a323f/31Obszar-20roboczy-20118_33.jpg?locale=en) ### [Curved Track R40 1/2](https://trixbrix.eu/en/p/track/curved-tracks/curved-track-r40-1-slash-2/9924-curved-track-r40-1-slash-2) In stock 2,49 € ![Left Connector R40](https://trixbrix.eu/rails/active_storage/representations/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MTkxMTE3LCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--ca31d24b5ae937c314c7b33a693db7625ea853e6/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6eyJmb3JtYXQiOiJ3ZWJwIiwicmVzaXplX3RvX2xpbWl0IjpbODAwLDgwMF0sInNhdmVyIjp7InF1YWxpdHkiOjg4fX0sInB1ciI6InZhcmlhdGlvbiJ9fQ==--9611decc1ff01912abcca0815ffb500fe34a323f/72Obszar-20roboczy-20118_42_4.jpg?locale=en) ### [Left Connector R40](https://trixbrix.eu/en/p/accessories/parts/left-connector-r40/9939-left-connector-r40) In stock 2,00 € ## This part is used in ![Ultimate 3-Lane Infinity Loop with Bridge](https://trixbrix.eu/rails/active_storage/representations/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MjE0ODcyLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--3b7cdd6214e59090190a130e7926e2e5c58fb722/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6eyJmb3JtYXQiOiJ3ZWJwIiwicmVzaXplX3RvX2xpbWl0IjpbODAwLDgwMF0sInNhdmVyIjp7InF1YWxpdHkiOjg4fX0sInB1ciI6InZhcmlhdGlvbiJ9fQ==--9611decc1ff01912abcca0815ffb500fe34a323f/IMG_2990-20kopia.jpg?locale=en) ### [Ultimate 3-Lane Infinity Loop with Bridge](https://trixbrix.eu/en/p/sets/loops/ultimate-3-lane-infinity-loop-with-bridge/11139-ultimate-3-lane-infinity-loop-with-bridge) Freshly printed 509,49 € ![4x Compact Corner R56](https://trixbrix.eu/rails/active_storage/representations/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MjE1MTYwLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--5fd5f8b0f98a454f9a3a8bd2921f39e0d58f0a53/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6eyJmb3JtYXQiOiJ3ZWJwIiwicmVzaXplX3RvX2xpbWl0IjpbODAwLDgwMF0sInNhdmVyIjp7InF1YWxpdHkiOjg4fX0sInB1ciI6InZhcmlhdGlvbiJ9fQ==--9611decc1ff01912abcca0815ffb500fe34a323f/01.jpg?locale=en) ### [4x Compact Corner R56](https://trixbrix.eu/en/p/sets/loops/4x-compact-corner-r56/11204-4x-compact-corner-r56) Freshly printed 395,00 €
