Ballast Plate for Left Switch R148

### Left Switch R148

Modular precision. Smooth transitions. Compact elegance.

The **Left Switch R148** is a large-radius turnout based on the smart and modular **R148 geometry**, designed to fit naturally into LEGO®-compatible layouts while allowing **clean 8-stud spacing** between parallel tracks.

- Both straight and diverging paths follow the **R148 geometry**.
- Designed to match the **LEGO® system's modular spacing** – precise and layout-friendly.
- Ideal for builders who need **smoother curves** than R104, but still want a compact footprint.
- Enables **parallel sidings or branch lines** at standard 8-stud distance.
- Works perfectly with long rolling stock, custom trains, and tight yet clean layouts.
- A modern switch for those who plan with geometry in mind.
- **R148 geometry was developed by MattzoBricks** – read more [here](https://mattzobricks.com/lego-track-planning/track-geometry/track-geometry-r148).

For layout perfectionists who love clean math and beautiful curves.
