Ballast Plate for 8 Stud Gap Wye Switch R40

### 8-Stud Gap Wye Switch R40

For tighter layouts – when 16 studs is just too much.

This version of the **Wye Switch R40** features a **reduced 8-stud gap** between the diverging tracks, compared to the standard 16-stud spacing in the classic version --> [Wye Switch R40](https://trixbrix.eu/en_US/p/Wye-Switch-R40/81).

- Designed for builders who want **tighter spacing and a cleaner look**.
- Only **8 studs** between the ends of the Y – perfect when space is limited.
- Ideal for advanced layouts where alignment and density matter.
- Fully compatible with LEGO® trains and R40 geometry.
- **No more awkward gaps** to fill between tracks – just plug it in and build.
- Dedicated ballast plate: [Ballast Plate for 8 Stud Gap Wye Switch R40](https://trixbrix.eu/en_US/p/Ballast-Plate-for-8-Stud-Gap-Wye-Switch-R40/730)

This piece was created based on feedback from experienced builders who value layout precision and visual harmony.
**If you care about clean lines and compact design – this switch is for you.**
