Ballast Plate for 3-Track Left Rail Yard R40

Build super cool railyards to park idle trains or rolling stock using Trixbrix Railyards. The railyard sets includes several custom tracks to have a railyard in perfect geometry. This means you will always have a safe 8 studs between tracks and layouts will be easy to connect.

The railyard switches are actually normal R40 switches with the exception that the detach part has a custom length and the switch throw is on the opposite side.

Included in this set is:

- 1 x Switch Left R40
- 1 x Railyard Switch Right R40
- 3 x R40 half curve
- 1 x [Half length Straight](https://trixbrix.eu/en_US/p/Half-Length-Straight-Track-Set-10-pcs/231) track

How to add any nymber of branches to the R40 Rail Yard

Follow these rules:

1. Start with a 3-Track Rail Yard R40 in Left or Right variant.
2. For every additional branch add a R40 Railyard Switch in opposite direction to the base direction of the 3-Track Rail Yard (i.e Left Rail Yard Switches for 3-Track Right Rail Yard and vice versa).
3. For every additional **odd** branch add a [Half Straight Track](https://trixbrix.eu/en_US/p/Half-Length-Straight-Track-Set-10-pcs/231)
